Abstract Guidelines

  1. Abstract should not exceed 2 pages (minimum 200 words and maximum of 300 words). The abstracts which do not meet this word limits will be sent back to the author(s) to be revised.
  2. Download the AbstractTemplate from the website and follow the format carefully. If the abstract template is not followed, abstract will be asked for revisions.
  3. Authors should submit a paper in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling, addressing one or several of the symposium theme (Fourth Industrial Revolution).
  4. Give a specific title of the Abstract within the scope of the symposium theme.

  6. We encourage you to send an informative abstract (complete abstract) which is a summary of a paper’s content including its background, purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion.
  7. Please send a brief biography of authors together with the Abstract.
  8. After preparing the abstract according to the above guidelines, submit the abstract through the email provided in the website.
  9. After successful submission, receipt acknowledging the abstract will be sent via to your email within two working days.

Presentation Guidelines

  1. Presentation should not exceed 10 slides (maximum of 10 Slides).
  2. Download the presentation template from the website and follow the format carefully.
  3. Authors should submit a presentation in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling, addressing the submitted abstract title and contents.
  4. Your Presentation must include the following:
  5. Present your topic and abstract title only with relevant data.
  6. Use only meaningful points.
  7. Use a picture or diagram if required.
  8. Explain every point clearly and briefly.
  9. Explain the methods/plans you are going to adopt to complete your research.
  10. Explain the expected results.

Paper Submission Guidelines

  1. Student Authors can start writing the paper and submit the Full Paper through Easy Chair Submission on or before
    29 Sep 2022.
  2. Authors should submit a paper in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling, addressing one or several of the symposium topics.
  3. Papers must be formatted as per the Paper Template and submit as the DOC file. Papers are limited to 12 pages including tables, figures, appendices, references etc.
  4. We cannot accept paper with less than 8 pages. Paper between 8 and 12 pages are highly recommended to show the proper result
  5. All submissions must be blind. Authors should not specify their names and affiliations in the paper.
  6. The manuscript (paper) should be jointly approved by all authors involved in the work and implicitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out.
  7. Only original papers should be submitted. Papers that contain any form of plagiarism will be rejected without reviews. (see plagiarism policy)
  8. Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously or that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  9. All papers must be submitted through our submission system and should be prepared as per the template.
  10. After the submission deadline, the authors are not allowed to make changes in the paper title, abstract, authorship and actual paper.
  11. If your paper is accepted, it should not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, including electronically without the written consent of the copyright holder.

Submission Checklist

You can use this list to carry out a final check of your submission before you send/ submit the paper for the review.

  1. One author has been designated as the corresponding author with the E-mail address.
  2. Paper has been plagiarism checked, spell checked and grammar checked.
  3. All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa.
  4. Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources.

Accepted Paper Submission Process
Please follow the steps while submitting the camera ready paper

  1. STEP 1: Revise your paper according to the reviewers’ comments.
  2. STEP 2: Prepare the camera-ready as per the Paper Template
  3. STEP 3: Submit/ Update your revised camera ready paper through the email on or before 30 April 2022

Plagiarism Guidelines

  1. Researchers must submit their original manuscript (paper) provided that the said manuscript has not been published previously
  2. Use proper citations and acknowledgements to the work of others in respect of the principle of intellectual property
  3. All submitted manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin software
  4. The allowed percentage of plagiarism should be less than or equal to 25%. Plagiarism less than 10 % is recommended for summary/ abstract/ discussion and less than 5% for the Results.
  5. Researchers must ensure to avoid plagiarism in all its forms which includes, but not limited to the following:
    1. Copying full or part (paragraphs, sentences or significant part of a sentence) of other’s work directly
    2. Copying from other’s work with an end reference to the original source but without putting the copied text between quotation marks
    3. Paraphrasing, summarizing or rearranging words, phrases or ideas of other’s work
    4. Copy-Paste of statements from multiple sources (electronic or print material)
    5. Presenting a work, done in collaboration with others, as independent work
    6. Using one’s own work presented previously
